you would have to take it to a body shop and have them go over it . i have a 1976 nova 92,000 miles in need of repairs .. to me its worth a million bux s for insurance purpose about $200 .. because there is no store that can replace the body parts needed incase of an accident . yeah there is ebay but i have been staying away from ebay because you pay low bux s and your stuck with it .. try looking for a radiator core support thats in good shapeand doesn't cost a million buxs
Unfortunately, your car is probably only worth a few hundred bucks at best. That year has very low power (even the biggest available engine, the 350 only made 170 horsepower. the 305 was 145 horse-pretty weak by any standard). You might find someone who wants a cheap hot rod that would buy it and put in a stronger engine, but the car has almost no collector value.
It would depend on the body damage and mileage, as already mentioned most folks just make them a cheap hot rod. I would guess between $900 to $4,500. Again, it would depend on body damange, mileage and how much the buyer is willing to fork over for it.

No they are not 4500 hundred is crazy. It's a 700 to 1000 if running
i have a 78 nova, valued at $15000.00. I don't know what those other guys are talking about. Also it is insured for the same amount. What do they know?
Chevy sucks, and Novas are garbage. $700 - $1000 seems about right.
