to many volts through system

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Put charger on battery, sent to many volts through and fried something in
electrical system, how or where do I start to fix the problem

as I recall, your alternator has the voltage regulator built right in...it's a "one wire" alternator...which apparently ain't no good no more~
