About my tires size

Asked by Mondeo_1224 Jan 19, 2017 at 10:15 AM about the 1991 Chevrolet Cavalier

Question type: General

I have 195/75/14s on my 1991 Chevy cavalier but I
think their to big. When I am driving and hit a bump
it runs and stuff. I can't find any 14s used and was
wondering if I put low profile tires on it would work.
Like maybe 205 55 15

Original equipment is 195/70/14 and 185/80/13 according to tirerack.com If going to a 15" tire you must also change the wheels as a 15" tire cannot be installed on a 14" wheel. A 205/60/15 tire would be about the same height as the stock tire and might work.
