MOTOR SWAP

okay well, the very first thing that you need is a V8 engine which you say your getting so that's one. the next thing you need is the motor mounts for the V8 because the V6 motor mounts will not work. also your gonna need a V8 transmission because the V6 transmission in the camaro will not simply bolt on to the 305. Also you need a V8 radiator and V8 gauges /Exhaust / V8 accelerator cables, Those are just some of the parts your gonna need to do the swap, and 90% of the time it turns out being more expensive and a lot of harder work to to the V6 to V8 swap than if you just get the camaro already being a factory V8. *hope this helps* good luck with the swap :-)
The link will help you out alot if this is your first time doing this. It will tell you better then I can. The motor you have now is 140 hp @ 4400 RPM 180 Torque @ 3600. The motor you getting is about 155 HP 240 Torque. Not much but you can feel differents tho. Now I miss my camaro :.(.. Allso that forum will help you out so much better the this one. http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/engine-swap/229665-v6-v8-swap-read.html
