Second gear not working

My manual can't shift into 2nd gear it
just grinds. It was starting to be hard
to get in into 2nd gear but if i pulled
the shifter hard it would go in but now
it just grinds and I have to skip from
first to third.

It might be your clutch is not fully disengaging during shifting. Or the synchronizers are worn out from too many "severe" downshifts....hauling it down into 2nd while still going 50mph.
