I change my transmission on a used Acura I bought. I had the same problem, what happens is when the mechanic disconnect the battery and start repairing stuff. Your cars radio has a security feature, that lets someone who might have stolen your radio, and not use the radio. After asking around, I ended up going to the dealer, and they put in the code to unlock it.

I had this problem, you don't need to go to a dealer! I ended up finding a service online that sends you your radio code. Worked for my acura. Here is the link for ya radiocodevault.com/acura
