How to raise airbag suspension

Asked by Shannon Jun 05, 2020 at 09:33 PM about the 1990 Toyota Hilux

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi my air bags run off my engine however I
currently have internal problems with the engine
so it won't run, is there any other way I can inflate
the air bags? I need to get the vehicle onto a
transporter to get the engine checked out. I can't
get a jack under it as the body of the vehicle is to
low. Any suggestions for this lowlux would be
great.

I had a Ford Ranger that was slammed. I'd have to remove the front bumper so it wouldn't break, then have it winched onto a roll-back truck from the back end. At times, I'd have to push the pickup onto wooden slats to fit a jack under it.

Appreciate your feed back brotherben, the lux doesn't move buy pushing it as it stands which was my main concern, however as you suggested with the winch is sure to get things rolling also looking into a local transporter who move a lot of custom low riders similar to my situation. Cheers bro.
