What size horse float. Obvious limitations to consider are brakes and tow bar and ball. Even before my engine conversion, my old 2.4Ltr petrol (22R engine) could tow a 2 horse float no worries but the diff gave out on my dad's 2001 model from him towing a 3 horse angle float.

Bah ha ha......... what's a horse float? And how much does one weigh?? It's like inflatable floaties for kids, but in horse size...........

U got no idea woman, u think any old car can pull every sized float with a couple of 1/2 tonne horses in it??

no way! i had a subaru sherpa what wouldn't have!! Or my celica!! LOL!!! Bottom line, yes a hilux would tow the float!!! Gutless fords tow floats all the time haha

Horse floats= what other countries call horse trailers. Seeing as shes asking about a Hilux, she's obviously not in America. Toyota people should know this stuff. ;) The real question you need to ask is can it STOP it. Lots of things can tow horses, stopping is a whole other issue.
