what's the difference between ls and rs??
why does the ls and rs have a 75 pound difference?? is it because the ls engine is heavier or does it have more stuff inside the car... but i wanted to know, is the ls and rs motor the same?? what is it's hp and torque at it's rpm?? and what's the ls's and rs's redlines??
If you check this Specs page: http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Specs-c1111-1994-Integra.html, you'll see that the LS (luxury sport) and RS (rally sport) have the same engine, but the LS has antilock brakes and air-conditioning, and the LS hatchback has a sunroof. the ls has cruise control, sunroof,abs brakes, a/c (optional on rs), power door locks, and the mirrors are black on the rs. the rs is basically a type-r minus all the good stuff like motor, interior, 5 lug u get the point
the type r did have abs and power everything. the rs is nothing like the type r except for the basic shell.
well if u read what i wrote "the rs is basically a type-r minus all the good stuff like motor, interior, 5 lug u get the point " type-r's didnt all have this stuff like abs. 2000-2001 did. a 97 type-r could be ordered with out the abs, radio, or a/c . i can sit here and run spec with u all day. and the type-r dosnt have power everything ive drivin enough of these cars at work to know this.
The LS has a sunroof and all power the rs is a base with crank windows and no sunroof
no third gen. integra had crank windows
2nd gen is what i was talking about, 3rd gen was sunroof interior and a/c for ls rs
to answer the real question the RS was absolutely stirpped. no sunroof, no ac....etc. the horsepower is the same as an ls because it had the same motor, the b18b1 it has 142hp and im unsure of the torque and redline is at 6800. to answer the other quible....the type r is the rs. completely stripped to provide a lighter, rally car base. the engine however is the b18c5 which has vtec
My RS is an Anniversary Edition. Has A/C, power windows, and the anniversary edition rims. Same engine as the LS. Only thing I dont have is the Sunroof, Cruise, and ABS
ok so my wife has a 94 teg not sure if its rs or ls it doesnt say but it has a/c and power windows no cruise and no sunroof or power seats what would it be? it doesnt say it on the title or the car

Are the bodies exactly the same for a 90 rs and a 90 ls? I'm thinking about buying an rs to replace some body damage on my ls.
One of the way's I can tell the difference between the Acura integra RS & LS. RS has a back windshield wiper and the LS is not equipped with one bit you can always put one on. hope this helps I just happen to have both of these cars both 94's
My 91 ls hatchback has a factory rear window wiper. If rs is stripped version, more likely the rs has no rear wiper
