93 Acura Legend Won't Start.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just bought this used two weeks ago, and I didn't see any signs of this coming.
It has driven fine...its not made any strange noises.
I tried starting it this morning...no crank. The lights,bells,whistles will come on when the ignition is turned, but nothing else.
I tried a different battery and still have the same result.

Any suggestions?
Could it be the starter? (best case scenario?)
Or the Distributer?

What could it possibly cost me?

Sounds more like the starter. If it was Dist. it would at least crank. What sucks is the starter is a pain in the ass on these cars, my book shows over 3 hours to replace it, the starter was about $220 or so.

I appreciate your time Geoff. I took it too a mechanic and he thinks its the starter soleniod...(sp?) The log book gives them 3.3 hrs. of labor replacing it. And yeah...I looked at the inside and its amazing to me how they've crammed all that stuff together. The bad thing is...I could replace it if I knew how to get to it well enough that I was comfortable taking it apart.
