2004 ford explorer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2004 Ford Explorer, with the key on, has power to
lights ac music but has no power from fuse box to the
starter. I can take one breaker out, jump 2 of the holes, it
will crank but won't start.
Otherwise, by turning the key there's no click or crank.
Replaced the starter.

Help!!

Does the fuel pump come on when the key is turned to the "on" position? There should be no power to the starter when the key is in the "on" position. Is the solenoid on the vehicle inside fender mounted or on the starter. Check the starter solenoid for proper operation.
