Why does my vehicle stall

My 2004 ford explorer it drives fine
but when i have to stop at red lights
or stop signs when i give it gas to
take off it goes dead and then
squeals when i start it back any ideas

If your getting a squeal sounds like something is locking up,A/C compressor, alternator.power steering pump,belt tensioner/adjuster.

Squealing sounds could be a bad bearing in one of the belt driven components. Turn off the AC and see if it stops. Then check the other driven devices for binding.
