I just bought a 2004 Ford focus The clutch was replaced but now grinds going into second gear and downshifting into second it really grinds...any suggestions?

second gear could air in the line afte clutch replacement cause this?

Could be the syncros in the tranny, meaning it is worn, or maybe the clutch is installed wrong or just needs adjusting- hopefully, it's the latter-

Your clutch is not disengaging properly. It is likely a throw out bearing problem. Either wrong bearing or faulty assembly.
