What would cause my 1976 Datsun 280Z to just quit and then today started right up?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My wife was driving back from the store and it just quit.  It would turn over but acted
like it wasn't getting any gas.  It has new injectors, fuel filter and fuel pump.  I went
back to work on it today and just for kicks made sure it had plenty of gas, which it did.
I told my son just to try it to see if it would start and it fired right off.  This car had
been sitting for 12 years, so we drained the gas tank, new fuel filter, new injectors and
fuel pump.  Do you think it just vapor locked?  Thanks!

Fuel tank probably needs to cleaned, check fuel filter again.
