Nissan Sunny Manual Gear Problem

Hello ,
I have the problem changing gear from Neutral to 1st and reverse gear than I
changed the clutch plate, pressure plate, and released bearing. Now it turns to be
the bigger problem and complete gear assembly jammed.

The mechanic suggested replacing the entire gear assembly which is very costly.
Please assist, is there anything missed by a mechanic while fixing the clutch set.

Hi I too got Nissan Sunny 2002. Almost every year or so i have this same problem. However,this problem gets solves once i change the clutch plate kit. Maybe your mechanic not well experienced for this.

i have a nissan sunny 2010 with manual gear the problem is with top gear can't be shifted.i think the manufacturer is not capable to improve gear fault comparetively than the other auto make ie toyota'hyundai or honda
