i have oil inside my intercooler, please tell me what is the reason ? :(

Asked by Khang Jan 29, 2015 at 11:24 AM about the 1998 Nissan Skyline

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i havent clean my intercooler for awhile, thought it would be from not having a catch can.
but then the second time i take my intercooler out, there was more oil. so i dunno what
causes that. My guess it would be from my turbo seals, other than that i have no idea.
please help me out .

Probably normal to have some oil in the inter-cooler due to the crankcase ventilation system being plumbed into the intake.
