Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What does it mean when my car will not start? I
just change the alternator and battery about 2
weeks ago. But now the lights come on but it just
will not turn over when i 1st try to turn it, it makes a
clicking noise then i try it again it does nothing.

After you try to turn it on and it does nothing, have you tried jump starting it with another car or battery? If you try this and it still doesnt want to turn over, it sounds like a starter motor possibly or solenoid. One quick test for a starter motor is have someone trying to turn the car over, while you wrap on the starter motor (dont hit too hard, just tap/wrap on it with a hammer) if the engine starts to turn over a little bit or a bunch, then its a worn out starter. (likely the brushes)

Someone else told me to do the same thing yesterday so I'm a try it as soon as i get someone to help me. Cause tried jumping it but it still wouldn't do anything.
