i have a 1979 toyota truck with a 20R motor.. i had someone work on the the truck . now it won't start ..he said he took the wing nut off the carb...what does that do?

til he took that wing nut off the truck won't start...where is the wingnut located and what is the function of it?

The wingnut just holds the top of the air cleaner tight on top of your carb. He must have done something else in order to prevent it from starting.
