First before you remove any wires, take a phone picture. Mark the wires on a diagram. Make sure there are connections for all the wires coming to the starter on the new one. The battery cable should be easy as it will be the largest. the other wire or wires should have their own connection posts and are attached by a round copper wire end that slips over a post secured by a nut. These are important to map out as to their placement. A little time before starting work will get a job done not only quicker but correct the first time.
