i'm exhausting too much CO2 1977 mgb w/ weber carb

Asked by jbcolvin Jun 11, 2018 at 12:36 PM about the 1977 MG MGB

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Got my 1977 MGB inspected and I'm putting out too much CO2 at idle and
higher RPMs.  How do I fix that?  The car runs great, but I need to reduce the
CO2 output

I doubt it is too much CO2. Is it too much CO? If so that means it is running rich and the fuel needs more oxygen to burn cleanly. Are the hydrocarbons also high?
