I have a 63 fairlane 500. It has a 260 v8 with a ford-o-matic transmission. I was wanting to change to a c4 transmission but I was told that I would have to get a trany from that generation motor because the bolt pattern is different. Is that true? If so can I buy a bell housing that will work?
