Question type: General

i just bought a 2003 2door Ford Explorer and i don't know the keyless entry code.  Is it hidden somewhere on the vehicle? I've had people tell me that it is, and i really would like to have it.

call your local ford dealer and give them ur vin# and they can help u. it may be easier and less drama to go in with ur registration and id to prove ur owner, that info over the phone could get some one in trouble..

On mine a 2009 Explorer it was printed on the junction box located above the emergency brake. Your going to have to remove the Emergency brake to get to the box.

My 2003 Explorer 2dr Sport has the Keypad Master Code on the BCM just behind the passenger side air bag. You can get there by opening the glove box, trip the door tabs to let the glove box door open fully or remove it. There are several small bolt screws to remove the air bag directly out from the dash toward the passenger seat and then you can see the master code on the BCM.
