Find out what mods have been done check the bottom of the doors for rust, mind the mileage, be careful of one that has sat for a long period of time.
Look at the header panel and radiator support also, they can be a pain to replace. Obviously underbody rust especially floor boards. Make sure all electronics work. The car should be able to break the tires loose no problem in stock setup.
