always look at title, color is on there and in most all states it is the oem color. i have been in gm;s hands for almost 40yr, there is a data base that tells all
how do i know if its a legit gnx , and if i can make it how its supposed to look like

well. Im thinking that if your looking to aquire one, Because the real ones are not cheap, then gm'data base verification would be in order. not buying one, then study the motor, you will see the difference 2 makes over one. these cars are rare and most under wraps.... CAUTION

From my personal experience-and,the fact, that I have worked at a G M recycling-Yard,most,all my adult life-is,The T- Type regal, and the Grand National,Came,in white,,Black,,silver,,Black, over Silver....The GNX- on the other hand, was ,,In a Myriad of different colors ,,different Ball-Park,altogether..Yes, I have seen,purple(actually,Royal-Maroon) GNX"S..Before you buy,this- Ask the owner,if you can pull the Back seat-Bottom..In the springs, -If it hasnt been tampered with--You"ll find the "build-Sheet"....
FYI all 1986 , 1987 Buick Grand Nationals as well as the 547 GNX'S all came in Black only no other color.
