Found the answer Found it !!! Go back into the MENU>DISPLAY ... Then do a long press in the lower left corner ... after about 15-30 seconds a new screen will appear asking for a PIN ... "295660" get's you into a new control screen. On page two you can set the clock (which is set to the year 2000 !!) BE AWARE it wants the time in GMT !!! I don't deserve the props for the find .. it was on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Btlu6CBeJQs&feature=youtu.be

MikeDaGeek helped me fix my clock with his instructions. The dealership didn’t know what was going on and we stumbled upon this review and it worked. The technicians at the dealership were shocked and said they learned something new.

Mike, I have the same problem with my clock, however my Yukon is a 2005. The instructions above wouldn't work on my vehicle. There wasn't anything in the bottom left corner of the screen to push. I did however push and hold the bottom left corner. Nothing happened. Is there a different solution for my vehicle?

I have a 2007 GMC Yukon Denali and just restored my clock. For those of you who say that there is nothing on the bottom left, you are correct. You still have to press the blank bottom left of the screen, however you have to have patience. I took about 60-90 seconds for the “set clock” page to appear. Hold your finger there and eventually the screen will appear. As stated above, it will ask you to enter the GMT time which is 4 hours ahead of USA Eastern time. Once you enter the correct date and time press the set button. When I pressed the set button it did not change the screen but if you press the back button after pressing the set button the time will now be back on the display.

In order for it to work you have to be stopped or in park for the keypad to be displayed so you can enter the code

Will try it again after dinner. The first round didn't work.

OMG! It finally worked! About a dozen rounds of holding and timing my now completely numb finger on the screen, the infamous reset menu appeared. It helps to have the GMT clock app running in the background as you can use it to time your clock within a second. Once the menu appears, you wet your pants and start entering the date and time. SUCCESS!

No, does not. I added one to my lighter that has Bluetooth for phone or music and it has two USB ports for phone charging.

Thank you! The reset instructions and PIN code worked! And the info from Gmann13 about the set button was very helpful as well..must have say there pressing the set button 10 times trying to get the screen to change. Once I hit the back button, the time appeared and I was able to reset it...going back to the garage tomorrow to show this to the 4 mechanics who couldn’t figure it out

I have had my battery disconnected countless times and have never experienced this until the other day. I also have a parasitic draw that nobody can seem to determine the cause. Anyone else have that? If truck sits for a few days battery is dead...

Disconnect the negative cable but I 12 volt test light between the battery negative and the negative battery cable if you have a draw the light will light up start unplugging fuses one at a time and see if the light goes out when the light goes out you found the circuit that the draw is in. I've had this problem before and it turned out the diodes in the alternator where bad causing the loss of current good luck

Has anyone done this on a 05? I have the NAV, Radio, CD, EQ and CONFIG buttons down the left side of the unit. No MENU button. I have tried touching the lower left of the display on different configure screens. No luck. Thanks in advance for any guidance you can share.

I have the same problem on a 2005 Yukon Denali XL, but there is no menu screen to tap on the lower left corner. Please help.

I totally understand there is no physical or visual button to press or hold :), what I mean is there is no MENU>DISPLAY option to go to and then press on the empty space on the lower left corner on a Yukon Denali 2005. Does any body know how, where to go or directions on actually which buttons to press to eventually get to this screens. Thank you kindly.

Yes!! Thank you so much!! It worked for my 2010 Yukon Denali after we changed the battery. Thought I was losing it, and my son couldn't figure it out either. So need that clock!!

How do you get it off GMT ? Would like to have is back to Pacific Standard time.

14,160

If I remember right as your setting the clock you tell it your time zone offset PST is -8 I'll have to do the set up myself again to remember.

14,160

Double checked and when setting date & time you will add the time zone offset ... In my case I'm in MST and setting the clock to 16:30 (4:30 pm MST) MST is -7 so I add 7 hours to the time to convert it to GMT. In the case above the time is set to 23:30 (16:30 + 7) With you in PST you add 8 making your time 24:30 or 00:30 tomorrow ... To keep your head from exploding ... Make sure to set your clock BEFORE 4pm PST ... Ideally do it at a time the math is easy (like noon or 12:00) 12:00 + 8 = 20:00 GMT
