It's odd to have 2 bulbs go out at one time but I think that is your problem. Turn signals usually (hyper-flash) when one bulb is not working to let you know there is a problem. Change both bulbs, they come is 2 packs at large parts stores
Thanks for the quick answer. I should have shared more information up front. We did change both front & rear bulbs and fuses are ok. Any other ideas?
With that info I would tell you to try a new flasher unit, about 10 to 15 bucks, I paid 13 for one for my car at advanced Sometimes you can find the old one by listing to where the light clicking sound comes from,. you can also switch the one from the 4way flasher into the turn signal flasher most people do that until they can buy another.
I have the same problem on a 2007 Impala, The left side break light and Turn signal do not burn, The left side front turn signal does work, everything works correctly on the right side, replaced the turn signal bulbs still doesnt burn, CANT be the flasher because the front one works. Not sure if there is a Fuse for the right or left break/turn signals under the hood but thats my next thing to check...
I would first check the socket for power with a test light, if you make the connection the test light will flash just like it was a correct bulb. You must have the key on and the flasher for that side on, then if you have power check the contacts where the bulb base touches them sometimes they get dirty sometimes they fall apart. If you have power on both terminals (with the parking lights and turn sig on for that side) then check that the ground is tight and clean this will be usually the black wire.
