A van that is non running that has sat for years in the elements and has rust is not worth much in it's current state. Right now I would say it is worth scrap value, a couple hundred dollars. Though you don't see many around anymore, to someone looking for the windows or other body parts might want to pay you a little more. So taking the time to part it out might net you some cash. To put in perspective, if you spend the time to have someone restore it to showroom condition and not just running, it will only be worth $15K. You would have double or triple that in costs for parts and labor to get it to that condition. Nostalgia is nice, but sometimes you have to look at the costs.
TDolby is right. Unless someone is looking for parts or wants to restore it scrap value of about $250 is about what it's worth. But I'd try to sell it. Put a $900 price tag on it and expect to get $500 from someone looking for parts. Hope that helps! Jim
