I dont want to have to do any modifications to it....its a 4x4.5 bolt circle...its very hard to find any decent aluminum wheels for it in a 6 inch wide wheel....if I can fit 13x7 or 14x7 wheels on it that would be great....thanks in advance

A 14x7 wheel will clear fender, if the offset is not to negative or positive. Many wheels are built w/ a positive offset for front wheel drive. You may run in to a bigger problem with the drums accommodating the wheels. Common areas of interference are the drums balancing weights, the contour of the drum, and the swedging or raised area at wheel studs. Best to allow a tire/wheel dealer recommend and source the wheels. If the wheels don't fit, then they have to accept a return. Wheels should always be test fitted before a tire is mounted. The tire dealer will also be able to sell you the proper size and load range tire.
not any aluminum wheels were made in 63,your best ber would be to find a set of 66 mustang GT 14 x 7 to put on it,with the centers and bands and a set of white letter tires,it would look great,or the 66 magmun wheels, bothare still findable and will fit your car.
A fairly old thread,but--I"ve had good luck,with Nissan,and Toyota alloys-as they,too,are 4 on 4 1/2 bolt pattern,and you can find them,in the 15 inch size,also...
The Mustang GT wheels wont fit as they are 5 lug. There were some 14 x 6 stock wheels in the 4 x 4.5 lug, but they were only on the 70 Maverick as best I can remember. If you don't care about stock appearance, then yes, old Datsun wheels work.
I just purchase 2 steel rims from summit 4 on 4.5 bolt pattern for the rear of my 63 falcon. they are 15 inch diameter by 7 inches wide. They also sell 14x 7 and other widths. About $60 per wheel and free shipping. They look like original wheels but wider etc. Backspace is 4 inches , offset is zero. Outer edge to outer edge is 8 inches. weld wheels also offers draglite and starlite mags that will fit thru summit or jets, $200 each. centerline also make this bolt pattern. ANSI slot mags too, about $160 each...........
Mini-lites or Mini-lites copies look nice on older falcons. You can get them with just about any bolt pattern, size, width etc.
