when removing the front bench seat do you unbolt from inside the car or underneath the car

It's a fifty year old economy car.Everyone who knew that answer is in a nursing home. Look at where the seat brackets touch the floor. If you see bolts, remove them. It's part of the "fun" of old car ownership.

You have a '63 Falcon? lean45 if it is in good shape, you may or may not know what you have there, Mint condition upwards of $12, 15k. Fair shape, no less than $5,000. Rust bucket still $2k. Maybe you already know this, probably do. But just in case , it's just fyi .

It is amazing to me that people will explain how to do things to old cars when they have no idea what they are talking about. Since I'm closing in on 80 years old there are many things I've forgotten, but I removed the seat from my '63 Ranchero yesterday. There are 4 bolts accessed from underneath for my bench seat, and the bucket seat models have 8.
