351 windsor oilpan hits rack and pinion  what oilpan can i use

you know there isn't a whole lot of wiggle room, as the oil pump takes a bit of real estate, actually considered why not turn it around backwards but the dipper on the oil pump needs the space~ could attack it with a ball peen and cherry red torch to sculpt it a bit, extra risers on your mounts might just help you out~

What car donated the rack and pinion? Is it a front sump, back sump or dual sump pan you are using? Depending on the configuration of the frame/K member, all 3 types are available for the 351W. The dual sumps were on the Grand Marquis/Crown Vics up to 91. The front sumps were on the 77-79 Thunderbirds, etc, and I forget what used the rear sump.

My old 1978 F250 351W 4X4 has a rear sump and the 80's Broncos have them
