Installiation of raditor and fan

Asked by rlarrick May 06, 2013 at 10:43 PM about the 1980 Chevrolet Monza

Question type: Car Customization

I have bought a Monza that original had the 6 cylinder and it had a 267 V8 dropped in.  It is mounted in already.  I need a radiator and fan that will fit in front of the engine, which is a narrow space, what would be the best radiator and fan to go with.

Rockauto has a V6 radiator that should drop in. They have electric fans for it in the Cooling section -- 1980 CHEVROLET MONZA 3.8L 231cid V6 : Cooling System : Radiator

Remember the American way of getting things to fit. Measure with a micrometer, mark it with chalk, and cut it with an axe. Make it fit with a hammer and duct tape. Measure, measure, measure. Make sure the radiator openings line up also.
