PROBLEMS WITH MY 1996 HONDA CIVIC EX WONT START

I HAVE A 1996 HONDA CIVIC EX SINGLE CAM VTEC I REPLACED THE DISTRIBUTOR THE COMPUTER
VERIFIED EVERY WIRE AND GROUND IN THIS VEHICLE CHECKED ALL FUSES AND THE VEHICLE STILL
DOES NOT HAVE NO SPARK THIS VEHICLE HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM LIKE 2 MONTHS AGO AND I TOOK IT
TO A MECHANIC AND HE SAID THE PROBLEM WAS THE ELD CAN THAT REALLY CAUSE THE PROBLEM
SHOULD I REPLACE IT AGAIN. P.S THE CAR WAS RUNNING FINE FOR LIKE A MONTH AFTER THE
MECHANIC REPLACED THAT ELD BUT THE IT STARTED ONES IN A WHILE DYING UNTIL IT FINALLY DIED
ONE DAY AFTER I PUT GAS IT DIDNT WANT TO START IT HAS NO SPARK
