stereo power wire 1971 ranchero gt

im trying to install a stereo in my 71 gt the "right way" (i want it to turn on with the ignition key) not just straight battery, i had an am/fm stock stereo but it was disconnected, i need to know what color/s the wire i need to tap into to get my power supply is and where it can be found, thanks

go to the fuse box ,use a test light,find a fuse that is hot when you turn the key switch on and dead when you turn it off.the memory in the radio will keep your preset stations & time set.
