How do u remove a steering column out of a 1978 Ford Ran hero GT?

there are some bolts that strap the unit into position, you'll have to rubberneck it...You'll have to disconnect the shift linkage and the ignition plug if you're taking the whole thing down to the gearbox, there are more fasteners confess I have never done this job, but can speculate what it may take~ thanks~
