What is the approximate value of a 79 Ford Ranchero? This car has a hole in passenger side floor, needs extensive body work, but runs good.

Ranchero - (Homer says -yum doughnuts) I say yum Ranchero,cool looking half car/half pick-up & 100% neither- but they are still cool. Can get a fairly good one for $5000. I'd say. So really rough body! Are you buying because you want a day to day ride; or you want a project;or you just gotta have it? If I wanted a project and this was the project I wanted then I'd probably pay 2 g's depending on other factors too. Like what other Ranchero was available within a reasonable distance of me and what else is good /bad on the one that's in front of me (more than body & engine to look at)
