1977 markV was runing great...the next day went
to turn it on and it wouldnt turn over no lights

Make sure the battery has a full charge, check battery connections, positive and ground. Check fusible links where applicable. Check charging system. Use a test light at your fuse box, see if voltage at fuse circuit. Some fuses are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on, so check both ways. If that checks out have check individual components. If you want to check starter motor circuit, ok. If you want to check headlights circuits, ok. If your saying no dash lights, that usually goes hot when you turn on the key. So any circuit that uses ignition feed you have to remember the ignition switch, at the moment, I'm not saying it is faulty.
