In my 1970 f100: When the headlights are on the wipers wont work and when the wipers are on the headlights don't work. Do I need to replace switches or is it a different kind of fix?

They should not be on the same fuse link,other word,s you should have a wiper fuse,and headlight fuse,sound,s like the wiring and not the switche,s,,try removing the wiper fuse,then test it,if light,s are ok,reroute the wiper wire,to another fuse,should fix the short you have.

I had the same problem a while back in my 66 f100 I replaced the headlight switch and that fixed the problem.
