Are you looking on the drivers side between the windshield and dash? The vin number would also be on the title.

i dont have title yet but registration is in there and the id number on the door is not long enough to be a vin according to the internet

Yea, I was just trying to look up a 13 digit vin number for a Buick. There has to be some sort of older vin number check somewhere out there, if you come across one let me know. Same here.

any vehicle manufactured before 1981 will not work for pretty much any VIN number lookup website, even the DMV website because it's not a 17 digit VIN number. I have a 10 digit VIN number and I have found a website but it doesn't give much information on the vehicle. hope that helped, ask me if you'd like the site anyway.

Yea if you could post that web sight, I know it would help a lot of people. Thanks
