Best thing to do when one has been sitting so long is to drain all old gas out of tank. Add new gas with can of sea foam. Un hook fuel line at engine and turn engine over till you smell good fresh gas coming out. Reconnect fuel line. Change fuel filter. Remove all spark plugs clean them or replace as needed. Remove dist cap and rotor clean or replace as needed. Inspect spark plug wires. Replace as needed. With spark plugs removed turn engine over. This should blow old gas and moisture out of cylinder. Change oil and filter. Doing these things normally will bring one back to life for me if there is nothing else major wrong with it. Once you get it to where it will idle add sea foam to oil as directed on the can. Allow it to idle with sea foam in oil for about thirty or so minutes. (Only idle do not rev it up). Then replace oil and filter again. Hope this helps some.
