2002 Ford Escape cd won't eject.

Sounds a little crazy but when one got stuck in mine I used a small knife to pry it out. The CD wasn't damaged and neither was the CD player. Also sometimes there is a small hole near where the eject button that is big enough for a paper clip to go into. I have heard it's a cd release button (emergency or aux CD release button) but it didn't work for me.

I had this problem on an Escape I used to own. What I found works best is if the CD comes part way out, use a small flat object to press the CD down slighty and the CD will pop out. No damage to the disc, no damage to the player. If the CD doesn't come out at all, I suggest purchasing a new unit.

Pull the fuse and put back in! It resets radio and then it will eject the cd
