Question type: General

My spider is special in that it was originally sold at Don Yenko's fiat dealership(don yenko as in Yenko camaro) i have documents to prove that as well. but the original paint is getting too screwed up to try and fix, and match perfectly, and i know i wont be able to match the color 100% again. should i just try and get a close match and repaint the whole car original? or should i just do a paint job that i like in non-original colors. its low milage...50,000mi. but th paint is cracking and when i went to get touch up paint it was so far off i had to remove it. im really trying to keep the collectible value of the car but its hard knowing i cant get that original color right when i try to have a pro mix it for me.

A car is always worth the most to collector when it is as original as possible. Unless you have a specially modified all original car then just repaint it.
