Whats the biggest engine that could fit in the engine bay?

Hey T.S. Thats Way Wicked Kool T.S. Way back when, a guy I heard about, was trying to put a 289 into a bug eye Sprite. Never saw it on the road but rumors did abound.

Look into LS based engines. They generally fit better in swaps because they are a little more compact. A lot of guys are swapping LS3s into their drift cars because they can fit them into tiny little miatas, rx7s etc.

im might be be getting a ke70 and putting a 3.8L v6 engine in it but I don't know if it will fit at all
