I droped the transmission on my 2002 ford explore to change out the main seal and put it back together and now it wont start... everything works but it wont turn over or crank

Did you have to unhook the starter? Are all its connections tight and properly attached?

Ok. Sorry but just have to ask this. Did you check your battery voltage? Are you positive that it's fully charged? A battery that is less than 75% fully charged may not start a car but will let all the lights and radio ect work. Starters draw major amps where as lights, radio, ect don't.

Ok when you turn the key to start position what does the voltage drop to? If voltage drops way down when key in start position try charging battery or jump starting. If voltage make little or no change then check the wire harness to the trans. Not sure where exactly your neutral safety switch is located but that very well could be the issue.
