Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi
I have a 1992 Corona (ST171). When I trun on the A/C, after working for a while (say 20
minutes), engine becomes unstable. Its repm starts fluctuating, it gradually falls and if not
assisted through accelerator pedal, it stops. What's the problem?

Sounds like either dirty/faulty idle air control valve or dirty throttle plate.
