1950 F1 won't start electrical

Converted to 12 v years ago. Turn on switch no gauges work. Starter spins when pushing button. Lights, and horn work. Was driving and engine quit. Could it be bad ignition switch?

Probably not the ignition switch if it died while driving. You will need to fall back to basics and trouble shoot. Does it have fuel? Does it have spark? Does it have compression? Is the timing OK?
