how do I know a 2006 sts cadillac is awd

If you have the VIN you should be able to do a quick search to find out. If not, call a local cadillac dealer and have them search the VIN for you.

Edmunds lists the car as rear wheel drive (RWD). One way to check would be to look under the car. Look for an axle shaft in the center of the front wheel. If you turn the front wheels, you would see CV boots and a shaft if it has front wheel drive.
