I changed the module and it worked for a minute then the fuse blew again. How can I check for a short in the wiring?

You would have to understand this to find the short .... https://f01.justanswer.com/ref/https_gsi.ext.gm.com/image_en_us/gif/000/000/796%252F796682.gif

what did you do to blow the fuse ? That may give you a clue where to look. rolled down the window then the fuse blew ( look for a problem in window motor or control switch

Just turn on the ignition in the run position and try try door functions, don't start it. see if it blows another fuse. Try leaving the door open see if it shows a driver door ajar. Let me know what happens
