'03 CTS

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

I am considering purchasing an '03 CTS with 39k miles. It has a clean title and is in great shape. Any suggestions on what I should look for? Should I get a diagnostic test? Seems like a great deal at $12,900 for the condition and miles.  Thanks.

I would definately take it for a diagnostic test just because I recently bought a 2003 CTS myself and the first thing that I had to change was the Thermostat and that required me to take off the whole intake manifold which was a job in itself and also there was a sensor that had to be replaced that I found online for way cheaper than what they wanted at the dealer. There have also been some other minor things but nothing major. But other than that I love my CTS an over all great car.

Thanks for your insight. I like the car as well and think that it's a good choice for me. I may ask the dealer to pay for this test before I purchase the car. Then I would feel better about signing on the dotted line. :)

Would definately recommend it and also if it is a dealer you can definately talk them down I got mine for a great deal at 8000 but it had more miles than the one you are looking at but still in great shape. Glad I could be of help.
