2003 Cadillac CTS automatically going into sport mode

Asked by caseylee23234 Aug 19, 2017 at 08:11 PM about the 2003 Cadillac CTS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

-Check engine light came on.
-Got it checked out and it said "c shift solenoid is "stuck
on"
-Had the solenoid replaced but the problem came right
back the next time time I drove it

The car drives normal until I exceed 3000 rpms. Once it
exceeds 3000 rpms it seems to slip into sport mode even
though I don't hit the button. Car has 114k miles.

Any ideas? And another question.. since it's pretty much
going into sport mood, is anything actually If it's just going
into sport mood? It's my daily driver that I drive 200 miles
every 3 days.

Why would it be anything with the battery? It runs normal and doesn't seem to have any problems with the battery
