Could you explain this a little bit more? I'm still kinda confused.
I tried to see if my thermostat had got stuck closed before trying something else and I took of the line that runs to the thermostat house I think it's called the main pipe and it's rusted out. I think my engine is gone. What do yall think?
It's rusted from the inside G A I think I'm just gonna try to blow it out.
G A, I was going to give you an update but forgot.... but I bought a radiator flush and did it, and the instruction stated to pour the solution in it I did that let the car ran for 10 minutes like it said Deville stayed under the Half mark then it said drain it and when I try to drain it nothing was coming out of the Thermostat Housing. I did about everything to this engine replaced Water Pump, Bought a thermostat today, a new reservoir, and a cap. Also, I know this is a lot but bare with me for a Lil bit I revved it up a little bit and it came out with White smoke but the 2nd time I did it nothing came out so I thought it was a blown head so I'm going to take it to a technician who works on these daily and he gonna tell me everything wrong with but I just gonna buy a motor for 350 that I found if it doesn't have to do with a head gasket. The part where the hose is where nothing was coming out. Sorry for the long paragraph .....
What do you mean Chevy 350 in a front-wheel-drive? This is a Northstar engine.
Quick question: have any of yall have coolant problems with your Deville for some reason my coolant is not working properly 75% the reason why it overheats - it just doesn't get to the thermostat but my cooling fans turn on and everything so Idk if its the lines or what.
